This Lighweight Polycarbonate Hood and Intake combo is 8.55 lbs lighter than stock and is the best option for eliminating bogging issues in deep snow conditions on the Boost models. On top of that it, also drops air intake temps dramatically which makes these rocketships perform even better. On a 30 second run the stock intake temps climb to 145 degrees very easily, but the temps drop 30 degrees in back-to-back tests with this hood and intake setup. This improves powerand overall performance, and reduces the chance of throwing codes that are intake temp related. Simply put, this is the lightest, best breathing, and best performing hood and intake combo on the market. Available for models with Standard or 7S Gauge and comes in a gloss black finish.
GEN 2 Updates include pre-assembled hood with 90% of holes for mounting and venting pre-drilled. 25% more Frogzskin surface area, separate from the main Frogzskin area and in areas snow is less likely to pile up. Pre-drilled mounting location for the stock powder valve, and map sensor in the intake plenum. Pre-cut heat tape for hot areas under the hood.
