This lightweight aluminum 2.5 gallon tank fits with no chassis modifications and is designed to be used with the stock fuel pump, gas cap, and seat for a quick and easy install. The original in-tank lines and pickup do need to be modified to work with this tank, or you can use use the Polaris 600R pump assembly pn 2208825 for a drop-in installation. Designed for weight-conscious racers in modified class hillclimb or drag racing applications- not only is the tank itself 5.55 lbs. lighter, but you can save over 6 lbs. for each extra gallon of fuel you don't have to add when you're not worried about the fuel sloshing around and uncovering the pickup in the larger stock tank.
