Team Gear Reduction Kit // 2009 Polaris Sportsman 550/850
These Polaris Sportsman transmission gear reduction kits from Venom Products (the former TEAM Industries aftermarket division) are designed for mud riding or larger tire applications. They will allow you to run the larger tires while maintaining an effective gear ratio that's similar to a stock machine- this reduces the stress on your belt, clutch, and other drive train components and allows them to last much longer. This kit lowers overall gearing by 14% in all gears; replaces the 5/8" output chain with a 3/4" chain for more torque capacity and removes the slip mechanism. You will have more torque to your wheels!
