This Spider Jam Nut for the Polaris P-85 Primary Clutch was inspired by our Snocross, Cross Country, and Iron Dog racers. It uses a more conventional hex socket for easier installation and removal, and the smaller OD helps prevent premature spring failures.
Speedwerx Spider Jam Nut // Polaris P-85 Primary Clutch
This Spider Jam Nut for the Polaris P-85 Primary Clutch was inspired by our Snocross, Cross Country, and Iron Dog racers. It uses a more conventional hex socket for easier installation and removal compared to the stock slotted nuts that often wear or round out due to poor engagement with the stock type jam nut tool. The smaller OD hex design of this nut also helps prevent premature spring failures due to the spring rubbing or catching in the slots on the stock nut. This part replaces the OEM Polaris pn 5020425 used on most if not all snowmobiles with the P-85 clutch from 1985-2024+.
